Oak Felder
Oak Felder, professionally known as Oak, is a 2-time Grammy award winning, hip-hop and pop producer & writer based in Los Angeles, who spent much of his younger life in Istanbul and Atlanta. He recently produced and co-wrote “Change Your Life” with Kehlani (feat. Jhené Aiko,) the album was #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums and #2 on the Hot 200 and the song was #9 on Hot R&B songs. Oak has also produced and written “Actions” by John Legend along with two others on John’s Grammy nominated album Bigger Love and continues to collaborate with him.
Oak also produced and co-wrote the single “I Love Me,” with Demi Lovato. His collaborations with Demi began when he produced and co-wrote her #1 single “Sorry Not Sorry” which is now 5X platinum. He also produced and co-wrote her songs “Daddy Issues,” “Games,” “Sexy Dirty Love” and “Only Forever.”
Oak has had consecutive #1’s with Alessia Cara’s “Here” and “Scars to Your Beautiful” and his work in the R&B genre includes Grammy award winning Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire,” Rihanna’s “Unapologetic” and a nomination for Usher’s “Good Kisser.” He was the producer and writer behind much of both of Alessia Cara’s debut and sophomore albums, Kehlani’s #1 debut album, produced and co-wrote songs for Nicki Minaj, Miguel and had 3 songs on Lizzo’s Platinum-certified debut album Cuz I Love You that won Best Progressive R&B album and nominated for Album Of The Year at the 2019 Grammys.
Felder produced and co-wrote The Chainsmokers’ single “Who Do You Love?” featuring 5 Seconds Of Summer and Kehlani’s “Morning Glory” from her recent mixtape. Additionally, Oak has written and produced records with Mary J Blige, Pink Sweats, Miley Cyrus, Jason Derulo, Alina Baraz, Jennifer Lopez, Mabel Big Sean amongst others.
Oak is one of the most sought after producers and writers in R&B, hip-hop and pop music. He has recently worked with Tierra Whack on her global Apple commercial and album release and has written and produced 2 period piece songs for Lee Daniel’s new film “The United States vs. Billie Holiday.” He will also have the title song for the upcoming Space Jam 2 and Adams Family movies.
